Welcome Competitors! Long Beach Rowing Association is proud to welcome competitors from around the country to our world class venue in sunny Southern California, site of the 1932 Olympic and 1997 USRowing National Championships. The Marine Stadium is easily accessible from the 405 freeway and features 6 - 1000 meter buoyed lanes of racing. Waters are typically calm and flat with occasional winds. Warm-up areas include a 4000 meter loop and 3000 meters of back channels to choose from.

LBRA needs volunteers to handle a wide variety of positions including, but not limited to Finish & Start Line, Parking, Awards Tent, Launch Drivers and more!

The Long Beach Rowing Association offers Adults the opportunity to experience this Olympic Sport this summer. Many weeknights, weekday mornings and weekend sessions are available by appointment for your convenience.
Weekday Evening Classes: 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Friday night: sweep rowing in eight and four oared shells. Tuesday & Thursday: sculling in singles and double sculls. Wednesday: team boats sculling and / or sweep
Weekday Morning Classes: 5:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. (Variable Time frame) Tuesday & Thursday: Sculling start times are variable from 5:30 to 9:00 AM.
Weekend Morning Classes: 7:00 to 8:45 a.m. Saturday team boats 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday introduction sculling session1 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sunday introduction sculling session 2
Cost: Special Introductory rate of $150.00. This entitles you to five sessions of instruction.
